Why Namaste?

"Namaste" is a traditional Hindu greeting, meaning "I salute the spirit within you" which honours the whole person and the spirit within.

In Holistic Therapy the whole person is treated - the mind, the body and the spirit within.

Most of the holistic treatments offered here have origins in the East, and especially India, along with Mehndi, Threading - and "Namaste".

The gesture (or mudra) of namaste is made by bringing together both palms of the hands before the heart, and lightly bowing the head. It is accepted as a humble greeting straight from the heart and reciprocated accordingly.  "Namaste" is not always used as a religious gesture but many believe it has a spiritual basis, in recognizing a common divinity within the other person.
